Orbit

For conferences

Arrive with meetings booked and someone to vouch for you.

Stop spending the weeks before an event figuring out who to meet and how to reach them. Add your attendee list. Orbit finds your buyers and potential connectors who know them, then helps you agree on introductions and rewards before you arrive.

Some attendees work at your buyers. Others have a contact there and could introduce you.

From attendee list to introductions in four steps.

1

Set your goal

Choose the conference, what you want to sell, and how much. Add the attendee list.

2

Find buyers and connectors

Orbit identifies attendees who work at your buyers, then finds connectors who can introduce you. It also spots attendees worth meeting because they have a contact at one of your buyers.

3

Invite them

Invite potential connectors to your program and agree on introductions and rewards. Start before the conference, and add new connectors as you meet them.

4

Book meetings and follow through

Connectors ask their contacts at your buyers and help arrange meetings when they agree. Track introductions, meetings, next steps, sales, and connector rewards in Orbit.

Common questions

  • Does a connector have to attend the conference? No. Someone in your network can introduce you before the event. An attendee you meet could also become a connector.
  • What if I don’t know anyone attending? Orbit searches beyond your network for potential connectors with a contact at your buyers. You can also meet potential connectors at the conference and invite them to your program.
  • What happens after the conference? Keep tracking introductions and sales in the same program. Your connector agreements continue according to the terms you agreed.
